Halton Borough Council's Planning applications and orders relating to a new bridge, listed building consent, alterations to existing highways, compulsory purchase of land and road user charging, were the subject of a joint Public Inquiry.
The Inquiry began at 10:00am on Tuesday 19 May at Stobart Stadium Halton, Lowerhouse Lane, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 7DZ
28/07/2009: The Inspector closed the Inquiry into the River Mersey (Mersey Gateway Bridge) order 200 and the application under section 19 (1)(a) of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981.
25/06/2009: The Inspector closed the Inquiries into:-
