The Mersey Gateway Project

The Mersey Gateway Project is likely to generate a number of commercial opportunities for a wide range of businesses.

The central contract will lead to the appointment of a project company to design, build, finance and operate the project. The final tenders from the three shortlisted bidders were given to the council on 10 April 2013. These are currently being assessed against a set of detailed criteria focusing on both quality and value of money. The three shortlisted bidders (in alphabetical order) are listed below, along with contact details for each bidding consortium:
