The Mersey Gateway Executive Board (MGEB) has been established as a sub-committee to the HBC Executive Board as the Council Approval authority and investment decision maker (pre-financial close) for the project. The membership of the Executive Board is:

Membership:The Mersey Gateway Executive Board (MGEB) has been established as a subcommittee to the HBC Executive Board as the Council Approval authority and investment decision maker (pre-financial close) for the project.
- The Leader of the Council plus two other members of the Council Executive to be selected by the Leader; and
- The Executive Board will be chaired by the Council Leader.
Officer Support:
- The Mersey Gateway Officer Project Board supported by the Operational Director – Financial Services and the Council Solicitor; and
- Such other officers and external advisors as required.
